We'd like to share with you a little more about Iglu, so we are asking our travel experts advice, top tips, cruise secrets and favourite holiday spots. First off, we talk to Simone - Managing Director of Iglu and cruise expert.

Hi Simone, how long have you worked with Iglu Cruise?

13 years

What's your job role?

Managing Director

How many ships have you seen?

I've lost count but I think around 40!

Which one was your favourite?

Each cruise line is unique as the itineraries they sail so I have to say that I love them all in different ways

What was your favourite meal on a cruise ship?

Too many! But to narrow it down to a few, I'd have to say eating at the Sindhu Indian restaurant on P&O Cruises' Azura, Sushi on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas and the Murano restaurant on Celebrity was exquisite.

What has been your most memorable cruise holiday?

There are two - a Transatlantic cruise from New York City to Southampton on Cunard's Queen Mary 2 where I was lucky enough to be staying in a Queens Grill Suite (luxury bliss!), there was white-gloved service, amazing food, grand formals and we met fantastic people onboard; another would be a family cruise that we enjoyed on Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas - there's so much to do on that ship! Rock climbing, shopping, Broadway shows...and the kid's clubs were amazing, we had trouble getting my son to leave.
