The Minors Package
If you are travelling with children aged 3-17 on a European cruise or 3-20 on a Caribbean/American cruise, this drinks package is a great option. With this package, they can take advantage of a wide range of soft drinks. It can be used in the buffet restaurant, main restaurant, private islands and in the bars. It can't, however, be used in the speciality restaurants (unless the child’s family has purchased the Premium Extra package).
Prices from: £13 per person, per day.
The Minors Package onboard MSC Cruises includes:
- Sodas (fountain and bottled)
- Fruit juices and smoothies
- Still, sparkling, and flavoured waters
- Energy drinks and sports drinks
- Alcohol-Free Cocktails and Mocktails
- Classic hot drinks (espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and a variety of teas)
This drinks package also comes with complimentary soft-serve ice cream at select bars and restaurants onboard, and any additional service charges applied to the included drinks.
However, the following are not included in the Minors Drinks Package:
- Mini bar drinks
- Drinks from onboard shops
- Drinks ordered through room service
Additional Minors Package terms and conditions:
This drinks package must be purchased for all guests under 18 years of age who are travelling with adults who have also purchased a drinks package. On European itineraries, this applies to children ages 3 years to 17 years, and on North American and Caribbean itineraries, it applies to children ages 3 years to 20 years of age.
It's also worth noting that this drinks package is not valid on MSC Cruises' private island destinations, such as Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. So, any drinks included in the Minors Package will need to be purchased separately for an additional cost when visiting.
The Alcohol-Free Package
This drinks package option, the Alcohol-Free Package, includes an extended range of non-alcoholic and alcohol-removed drinks alongside everything you can enjoy in the Minors Package. This makes it ideal for adults who want to enjoy the wide variety of drink options available during an MSC Cruises sailing, but don't want to drink alcohol during their cruise.
Prices from: £19 per person, per day.
The Alcohol-Free Drinks Package includes:
- Sodas (fountain and bottled)
- Fruit juices and smoothies
- Still, sparkling, and flavoured waters
- Energy drinks and sports drinks (including protein shakes)
- Alcohol-Free Cocktails, Fresh fruit cocktails (non-alcoholic), and Mocktails
- Classic hot drinks (espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and a variety of teas)
- Non-alcoholic beers and wines (age restrictions apply)
This drinks package also comes with complimentary soft-serve ice cream at select bars and restaurants onboard, and any additional service charges applied to the included drinks.
However, the following are not included in the Alcohol-Free Drinks Package:

It's also worth noting that this drinks package is not valid on MSC Cruises' private island destinations, such as Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. So, any drinks included in the Alcohol-Free Package will need to be purchased separately for an additional cost when visiting. However, a child-specific iteration of this drinks package is available for guests aged 13 to 20; this will give older children a wider selection of non-alcoholic and alcohol-free drinks to enjoy during their cruise.
This drinks package is also not applicable at select thematic bars and speciality restaurants.
The Easy Package
The Easy Package, which is available to all adults aboard MSC Cruises' ships, is an option that allows you to take advantage of the wide range of soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages available onboard alongside a selection of alcoholic drinks.

The Easy Package includes the following drinks:
- Sodas (fountain and bottled)
- Fruit juices and smoothies
- Still, sparkling, and flavoured waters
- Energy drinks and sports drinks (including protein shakes)
- Alcohol-Free Cocktails, Fresh fruit cocktails (non-alcoholic), and Mocktails

- 50% off premium bottled and draught beers

- 50% off premium spirits and liqueurs

Are drinks packages available on all MSC Cruises’ sailings?
Drinks packages are available on all MSC Cruises’ ships, except for ships that are sailing out of China and South Africa.
Do all guests in the same cabin require the same drinks package?
Yes, all guests within the same cabin require the same drinks package. For example, if you're travelling in a group of two adults and two children, both adults must be on the same drinks package and the children on the Minors Package, or the Alcohol-Free package if 13 years of age or older.
Do all guests in the same group booking require the same drinks package?
If your group wish to dine together at the same table, you must have the same drinks package. Whether you’re travelling in separate cabins or in the same one, your travel party must reserve the same drinks package in order to sit together in the restaurants. This allows for a more consistent experience when dining as a group.
Regardless of which drinks package you choose, a Minors Package must be purchased for all children within the travel party.
Are drinks all the same across MSC Cruises’ sailings?

How do I book a MSC Cruises’ drinks package?
