The Minors Package
If you are travelling with children aged 3-17 on a European cruise or 3-20 on a Caribbean/American cruise, this drinks package is a great option. With this package, they can enjoy a wide range of soft drinks. It can be used in select bars, buffets, and main restaurants, so you're never too far from refreshments. It can't, however, be used in the speciality restaurants (unless the child’s family has purchased the Premium Extra package).
Prices from: £13 per person, per day
The Minors Package onboard MSC Cruises includes:
- Coffee, tea, and assorted hot drinks
- Soft and energy drinks
- Juices and smoothies
- Still and sparkling water - AQUA by MSC
- Non-alcoholic cocktails
This drinks package also comes with any additional service charges applied to the included drinks.
However, the following are not included in the Minors Drinks Package:
- Mini bar drinks
- Drinks from onboard shops
- Drinks ordered through room service
Additional Minors Package terms and conditions:
- This drinks package must be purchased for all guests under 18 years of age who are travelling with adults who have also purchased a drinks package. On European itineraries, this applies to children ages 3 to 17 years, and on North American and Caribbean itineraries, it applies to children ages 3 to 20 years.
- It's also worth noting that this drinks package is not valid on MSC Cruises' private island destinations, such as Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. So, any drinks included in the Minors Package will need to be purchased separately for an additional cost during your visit.
- In cases where AQUA by MSC isn't available, bottled water will be included in the package and served across selected bars, buffets, and restaurants.
- Please note: the Minors Package will be valid on private islands and onboard speciality restaurants if connected to the Premium Extra adults' drinks package. It will also include protein shakes and smoothies, and fresh fruit non-alcoholic cocktails, when connected to the Alcohol Free or Premium Extra adult drinks package.
The Alcohol-Free Package
This drinks package option, the Alcohol-Free Package, includes an extended range of non-alcoholic and alcohol-removed drinks alongside everything you can enjoy in the Minors Package. This makes it ideal for adults who want to enjoy the wide variety of drink options available on an MSC Cruises sailing but don't want to drink alcohol.
Prices from: £19 per person, per day
The Alcohol-Free Drinks Package includes:
- Speciality coffee, tea, and assorted hot drinks
- Soft and energy drinks
- Juices, fresh fruit cocktails, smoothies, and protein shakes
- Still and sparkling water - AQUA by MSC
- Non-alcoholic beers, wines, and cocktails (age restrictions still apply)
This drinks package also comes with any additional service charges applied to the included drinks.
However, the following are not included in the Alcohol-Free Drinks Package:
- Mini bar drinks
- Drinks from onboard shops

The Easy Package includes the following drinks:
- Coffee, tea, and hot drinks

- Still and sparkling water - AQUA by MSC
- Bottled and draught beer - selected brand
- House wine and sparkling by the glass
- Classic cocktails and mixed drinks with house spirits
- Non-alcoholic options like mocktails, wines and beers
With this drinks package, you'll also enjoy the following discounts, should you spot something on the menu you want to indulge in:
- 15% off premium wines and sparkling wines by the glass
- 50% off premium cocktails and mixed drinks
- 50% off premium spirits and liqueurs
- 15% off bottles of wine and Champagne
This drinks package also includes any additional service charges applied to the included drinks.
However, the following aren’t included in the Easy Package:

Unlike the other drink packages available, you'll also be able to take advantage of the Premium Extra Package in a selection of speciality restaurants onboard, and when visiting MSC Cruises' private island destinations.

A: If your group wish to dine together at the same table, you must have the same drinks package. Whether you’re travelling in separate cabins or in the same one, your travel party must reserve the same drinks package in order to sit together in the restaurants. This allows for a more consistent experience when dining as a group.
Regardless of which drinks package you choose, a Minors Package must be purchased for all children within the travel party.
Q: Are drinks all the same across MSC Cruises’ sailings?
A: Brands and the selection of drinks can vary depending on the destinations and the time of year that you’re sailing.
Q: How do I book an MSC Cruises’ drinks package?

For cruises to the Caribbean, North America, and Alaska, the Easy Package is only available for purchase pre-cruise and cannot be purchased onboard.

A: Whilst you can use all drinks packages in the main restaurants, bars and buffet restaurants, the only drinks packages that can be used in the onboard speciality restaurants are the Premium Extra Package. The Minors Package can also be used in speciality restaurants onboard if the associated adult has purchased the Premium Extra Package.

Additional Terms and Conditions for MSC Cruises’ Drinks Packages
- Prices are subject to vary, as is the specific selection of drinks available.
- Drinks packages are available on a per-person, per-cruise basis; pricing applies to every day of the cruise except disembarkation day.
- Packages must be booked by all guests occupying the same cabin. This includes minors, for whom the Minors Package must be booked. Packages are not obligatory for infants under three years of age.
- The following exclusions apply: tobacco, souvenir glasses, ice cream menu, retail items, minibar, room service and promotions.
- Beverages and liquors may be substituted based on availability and itinerary.
- Guests may enjoy up to 15 alcoholic drinks per day.
- The Easy Package and Alcohol-free Package are not applicable at selected thematic bars, speciality restaurants, and private islands.
- The Premium Extra Package is not applicable at selected thematic bars.
- The Minors Package applies to minors (age as per the country/operation area) who are part of a group/family purchasing an adult Easy, Alcohol-free, or Premium package.
- Drinks packages cannot be shared or transferred to other guests.
- With any drinks package, you can order only one drink per person per order.
