NCL Premium Drinks Package (Unlimited Open Bar)

Often included as part of a Free at Sea upgrade, the Norwegian Cruise Line Premium Drinks Package (also known as the Unlimited Open Bar) option is available to enjoy both onboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s ships and on their private island resort, Great Stirrup Cay. With this package, you can take advantage of select premium cocktails and spirits (under $15), beer and wine by the glass (under $15) along with other drinks and discounts throughout your cruise.

Prices from: $109 per person, per day

With the Premium Drinks Package, you’ll have the following drinks included:

A variety of gins and vodkas (with brands such as Bombay, Titos and Absolut)
A range of whiskeys and brandy (with brands such as Chivas, Johnnie Walker and Jack Daniels)
An array of rum & tequilas (with brands such as Bacardi, Malibu and Patron)
A large selection of wines by the glass (white, red, port and non-alcoholic wine)
A variety of beers, cider and seltzers (such as Blue Moon, Corona, Strongbow and Truly Hard Seltzer)
Sodas
Tonics
Juices
A 20% discount on wine & spirit experiences, tastings, flights, all wines by the bottle and Connoisseur Collection beverages

However, the following aren’t included in the Premium Drinks Package:

Top-shelf gins, vodkas, whiskeys, brandy, rum and tequila
Select liqueurs and cordials (such as Chambord and Bailey’s Irish Cream)
Champagne, rose and premium white and red wines by the glass
Starbucks coffees
Premium bottled water
Fresh juices
Energy drinks
Beer buckets
Vending machine purchases

NCL Premium Plus Drinks Package

If you want a more inclusive drinks package, then the Premium Plus Package is a great option. Available as an upgrade to your Unlimited Open Bar package, it includes everything that’s in the above package and more!

Prices from: $138 per person, per day

Alongside the drinks listed above, the Premium Plus Drinks Package includes the following beverages:

Top shelf gin and vodkas (with brands such as Hendricks, Monkey 47 and Grey Goose)
Top shelf whiskey and brandy (with brands such as Talisker, Woodford Reserve and Hennessey)
Premium rums and tequilas (with brands such as Avion, Zacapa 23 and Cazadores Anejo)
Liqueurs and cordials (with brands such as Cointreau, Bailey’s Irish Cream and Chambord)
A selection of Champagne, rose, white wines and red wines by the glass (at selected bars and by the bottle when dining)
Non alcoholic wine by the bottle

Hawaii Beverage Package

Available on Pride of America sailings for guests 21+, the Hawaii Beverage Package includes a variety of drinks up to $15, such as:

Unlimited craft cocktails
Premium spirits
Wines by the glass
Beers
Bottled water
Soft drinks (juices and sodas)
Speciality Starbucks coffee whilst dining

The Hawaii Beverage Package is available at a cost of $109 per person, per day. Speciality coffee outside restaurants and purchases from vending machines or mini bars are not included.

As an alternative to the alcoholic drinks packages above, Norwegian Cruise Line also offers additional drinks packages. With three different types to choose from, you’ll be able to find the perfect drinks package for you.

Water Packages

Norwegian Cruise Line also offers water packages, that are available at the following prices:

6 one litre bottles: $19.95
12 one litre bottles: $34.95
24 one litre bottles: $49.95

Unlimited Starbucks Package

If you love your Starbucks coffees, teas and refreshers, then this is a great option for you. With the Starbucks package, you can enjoy a variety of these, all for $12.95 per person, per day.

Unlimited Soda Package

Alternatively, if you’re just looking to enjoy a selection of soft drinks, then NCL’s Unlimited Soda Package is ideal. With this package, you can enjoy unlimited fountain sodas and juices for $9.95 per person, per day. This package is available for guests aged 3+.

Soft drinks can be enjoyed at any lounge, restaurant or bar. However soft drinks are excluded on Harvest Caye.

How do you purchase a Norwegian Cruise Line drinks package?

You can purchase your Norwegian Cruise Line drinks package either via their online portal or when you board the ship (within 48 hours) at the Atrium Bar.

Do all guests in your party require a drinks package?

Alcoholic drinks packages must be purchased for all guests 21+ on the same reservation. If you are travelling with guests under 21, they must purchase the Unlimited Soda Package.

NCL drinks packages can’t be shared, transferred or refunded.
