After months of anticipation, it is nearly time for us to welcome Anthem of the Seas. Since her sister, Quantum of the Seas launched last year we have all been counting down the days until the big arrival of Anthem. Set to host a range of industry firsts and innovative features, she will change the game in cruising from Southampton.

It has now been announced Anthem of the Seas will only spend one season from Southampton before making her transition to join Quantum in Asia. This news changes everything and makes 2015 the only year to experience this industry-changing masterpiece from our doorstep.

Here’s five reasons you need to experience Anthem of thr Seas this year…

Bionic Bar

These two robots caused quite a stir on Quantum and are set to do the same on Anthem. Like nothing before seen on land, let alone at sea, this robotic bar will impress even the least technological of guests.

With laser precision and robotic arms working in synchronization, they can mix up any cockatil fo your choice.

North Star

North Star offers an experience like no other. Taking guests 300 feet above sea level in a jewel like capsule, there is nowhere in the world that can offer the views this does.

Once inside the ‘pod’ you can move around to get your perfect view as you are slowely elevated up to the sky and move at a 360 degree angle around the ship.

Not for the faint hearted!

Ricord by Ifly

Sky dive at sea? Why not said Royal Caribbean! Known for pushing all boundaries at sea, Ricord by IFly was yet another invention that changed the game for cruising.

For the first time ever you can experience what it feels like to float in the air for a real skydiving experience. Located at the back on the ship, once in the air all you will be able to see below you is the ocean.

Jamie’s Italian at sea

Our much loved chef Jamie Oliver has brought his exquisite cuisine to the sea for the first time. His popular Jamie’s Italian restaurant has won the hearts of thousands of ‘foodies’ around England and wanted to delve into the cruise world for the first time with Royal Caribbean.

Presenting a unique menu bursting with Italian delights, your taste buds will explode with delight at every bite.

Two 70

A completely revolutionary space that became the most iconic venue on Quantum of the Seas. A world first, this venue sees technology come face to face with entertainment to create a space that changes from day to night.

In the day a modern open living space with 270 panoramic views, but as the sun goes down it transforms into a spellbinding entertainment venue with  enchanting bars and world-class performers. Using digital scenery from moving screens, prepare to be amazed by this revolutionary experience.

With Anthem of the Seas leaving Southampton at the end of summer 2015, this year will be your only chance to experience this incredible vessel…unless you want to fly to Shanghai to see her.
