Regent Seven Seas Cruises Announces New Ship to Launch in 2026
Regent Seven Seas Cruises have just announced that their newest ship, Seven Seas Prestige is setting sail in 2026. Sitting within the brand-new Prestige Class (the first new class for 10 years), Seven Seas Prestige is set to offer ultra luxurious cruises with new suite categories.
Accommodating up to 850 guests, the 77,000 ton, ultra-luxury ship has a high crew-to-guest ratio, world-class restaurants and other spectacular amenities. With all the inclusions of other Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ getaways, from unlimited internet to gourmet cuisine and fine wines, guests are guaranteed an unforgettable escape aboard Seven Seas Prestige.
The President of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Andrea DeMarco, commented:

Construction Begins On Celebrity Xcel
The fifth ship in Celebrity Cruises’ extraordinary Edge Class setting sail from Fort Lauderdale, Celebrity Xcel will feature a wide range of amenities, from favourites like the Magic Carpet and the Celebrity Theater, to new facilities that are bound to impress.
In June, this spectacular ship had its keel laying ceremony and construction began in Chantiers de l’Atlantique. A methanol capable ship, it’s set to offer a variety of itineraries throughout the Caribbean.
MSC World America to Offer Huge Selection of Family-Friendly Activities
MSC Cruises announced that MSC World America, which is setting sail in 2025, will not only feature the largest kids club in the MSC fleet, but a variety of activities through a partnership with LEGO.
Situated within Family Aventura, the family-friendly district onboard MSC World America, top activities in the district and across the ship include the LEGO Family Zone, a LEGO Parade, Guinness World Record Family Quiz, The Harbour (a high ropes course) and Star Shooters, a thrilling virtual reality experience. Aiming to create the “most exceptional kids and family offering at sea” according to Steve Leatham, Head of Entertainment for MSC Cruises, the 6,762-passenger ship is guaranteed to be a favourite amongst multigenerational families.
Silver Ray Set Sail on its Maiden Voyage
On June 15th, Silversea Cruises’ newest addition to the fleet, Silver Ray, set sail from Lisbon on its maiden voyage around the Mediterranean. Constructed at the Meyer Werft shipyard, the LNG-powered ship had its christening ceremony in the city on June 12th.
At the christening ceremony, Silver Ray’s godmother, Dr. Josefina Olascoaga made an appearance and there was an impressive bagpipe show, dance performances and more.
The second ship within the luxurious Nova Class, Silver Ray has plenty on offer from exquisite dining to a sumptuous spa and the stylish Venetian Lounge theatre. Offering itineraries throughout the Caribbean, Mediterranean and beyond, Silver Ray is a welcome addition to the fleet.
Cunard’s 2025 Event Voyages Revealed
Cunard announced seven exciting 2025 Event Voyages, that offer guests immersive getaways onboard Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2. With a variety of themes including wine, gastronomy and art, these captivating voyages will feature Q&As, workshops, live performances and more!
With Cunard’s 2024 Event Voyages Programme being so popular with Cunard enthusiasts and novices alike, these sailings are likely to get booked up fast!
