When sailing with Princess Cruises, be that on a Caribbean cruise, to one of the top historical destinations you can see with Princess Cruises, or otherwise, you will be able to book through their updated 3-tier package option system. The available tiers are: Princess Standard, Princess Plus, and Princess Premier. A rundown of each tier's benefits is below.
Princess Standard
When you book with Princess Standard, your basic cruise fare also enables you to enjoy the core Princess MedallionClass Experience – with some dining and entertainment options included with your accommodation.
Princess Plus
For an additional $65 per person per day, you can add on Princess Plus to enjoy the following additional benefits:

- Plus Beverage Package, including up to 15 drinks a day, valued at up to $15 per drink

What are casual dining experiences, and where can I get them?
Whilst these can vary by ship, three-course meals at Princess Cruises' casual dining venues include fan-favourites, such as O'Malleys, Ocean Terrace, Vines, Alfredo's Pizzeria, Gigi's Pizzeria, Planks, BBQ, Steamers, Salty Dog Gastropub and Kai Sushi.
Do I need to make speciality dining reservations in advance?
While not completely necessary, this is recommended, and can be done so via the Princess Cruises App. That way, you can make sure you get the venue, date, and time of your choice.
What if I'm just on the Princess Standard fare?
There will now be a $14.99 cover charge for multi-course prix fixe meals in casual dining venues, with a la carte items available for purchase individually.
How much is OceanNow delivery if I book a Princess Standard fare?
If you want to take advantage of OceanNow delivery, you can pay a one-time access fee of $14.99 per person per voyage – and an additional $5 room service fee will apply to each order placed by stateroom phone.
Are Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages available to all guests?
Princess Cruises' packages are available for all guests onboard.
If you have purchased your cruise before the enhancements in August 2024, you can upgrade to receive all of the added benefits for an additional £10 per person per day. However, if you purchased the plan before 15 August 2024, the £65-per-day plan will still be honoured.
Can I upgrade my fare to Princess Plus or Princess Premier after booking?
You can! Even if you're booked a Princess Standard fare, you can upgrade to Princess Plus for £50 per guest per day or Princess Premier for £75 per guest per day. You can also upgrade from Princess Plus to Princess Premier by paying the difference between the two fares. All of this can be done through your Cruise Personalizer, Princess Cruises' Contact Centre, or your cruise consultant.
Can I upgrade to Princess Plus or Princess Premier while onboard?
If you want to upgrade your fare package, you can do so through the second day of your voyage – and the same upgrade fees as above apply.
How much shore excursion credit benefit do you get with Princess Premier?
The value of the shore excursion credit benefit you get with Princess Premier depends on the length of your cruise.
For cruises between six and nine days, you’ll enjoy $100 additional shore excursion credit benefit. For cruises between 10 and 20 days, this is upped to $200 additional shore excursion benefit. On cruises over 21 days in length, you’ll get $300 additional shore excursion benefit.
What do I do if I just want certain parts of the Princess Plus or Princess Premier package?
Unfortunately, the Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages aren't available individually. However, you don't actually need to use every aspect of these packages to make them worthwhile – so it's definitely still worth considering.
