A great way to enjoy a variety of drinks on your cruise holiday, once you’ve purchased a drinks package, you won’t have to worry about buying individual drinks on your sailing. 

And with Princess Cruises’ drinks packages, you’ll have the flexibility to choose from a variety of options, whether you’re looking for one that only includes soft drinks or a package that also includes alcohol. You’ll also be able to use your drinks package, regardless of which one you choose on Princess Cruises’ private island resort, Princess Cays. 

Onboard Princess Cruises, in certain areas of the ship (such as in the buffet), you’ll have access to tap water, iced tea, tea, brewed coffee, milk and fruit juices that are included in your cruise fare. 

Alternatively, if you choose a Princess Plus fare, you’ll have a Plus Beverage Package (drinks up to a value of $15 included). Or if you opt for a Princess Premier fare, you’ll have a Premier Beverage Package (drinks up to a value of $20 each).

Price: $14.99 per person, per day

If you’re looking for a soft drinks package, Princess Cruises’ Classic Soda Package is ideal. With this package, you’ll have the following included: 

  • Sodas
  • Fruit juices
  • Mocktails
  • Smoothies 

However, with this type of package you won’t have the following included:

  • Speciality or premium coffees, hot chocolates and teas
  • Ice cream based drinks
  • Drinks from the shops/retail venues
  • Mini bar items
  • Alcoholic drinks 
  • Souvenir glassware
  • It can’t be used in conjunction with promotions, onboard specials or other similar programmes. 

How to Book a Classic Soda Package

After booking your Princess Cruises’ getaway, you can opt to purchase a drinks package. For the Classic Soda Package, you can purchase it on day one and two of your sailing, but it’s not available for pre-purchase within 3 days of the sailing. 

Zero Alcohol Package

The second choice of drinks package available is the Zero Alcohol Package. With this package, not only can you enjoy sodas, fresh juices and healthy smoothies from the juice bar, but the following drinks:

  • Premium and speciality teas 
  • Hot chocolate 
  • Mocktails
  • Bottled water 
  • Red Bull energy drink

However, with this type of package you won’t have the following included:

  • Bottled drinks
  • Mini Bar items
  • Drinks from the shops/retail venues
  • It can’t be used in conjunction with promotions, onboard specials or other similar programmes.
  • Alcoholic drinks
  • Souvenir glassware

How to Book a Zero Alcohol Package

After booking your Princess Cruises’ getaway, you can opt to purchase a drinks package. Similarly to the Classic Soda Package, for the Zero Alcohol Package, you can purchase it on day one and two of your sailing, but it’s not available for pre-purchase within 3 days of the sailing. 

Plus Beverage Package

With the Plus Beverage Package, not only can you enjoy a 25% discount on bottles of wine, large bottles of water and cans of soda, but drinks up to a value of $15 each, including the likes of:

  • Cocktails
  • Wine by the glass (a variety of 25 to choose from)
  • Beer (a variety of 25 to choose from)
  • Spirits (a variety of 50 to choose from)
  • Speciality coffees
  • Fountain sodas
  • Bottled water
  • Healthy smoothies from the juice bar
  • Fresh juices
  • Mocktails
  • Crafted cocktails (by the onboard mixologist Rob Floyd)

However, with this type of package you won’t have the following included:

  • Bottles of wine
  • Bottles of spirit
  • Drinks from the shops/retail venues
  • It can’t be used in conjunction with promotions, onboard specials or other similar programmes.
  • Souvenir glassware

How to Book a Plus Beverage Package

The Plus Beverage Package can be purchased at the time of booking your cruise, up to three days prior to sailing. After this, it’s also available onboard on embarkation day, but not during the rest of your sailing. However, as aforementioned, if you’ve booked Princess Plus or a Princess Premier fare, it will be automatically added to your cruise booking. 

Premier Beverage Package

Price: $84.99 per person, per day

With Princess Cruises’ Premier Beverage Package, similarly to the Plus Beverage Package, you can take advantage of a 25% discount on bottles of wine, large bottles of water and cans of soda, along with every drink that’s included in that package. 

Alongside that, you can access top-shelf, premium drinks up to a value of $20 per drink ($30 for sailings from Australia and New Zealand), as well as:

  • High-end crafted cocktails (20+ to choose from)
  • Top shelf spirits, as well as over 75 other spirits to choose from
  • Wine by the glass (a variety of 40+ to choose from)
  • Premier wines by the glass
  • A curated bourbon selection created exclusively for Princess Cruises

However, with this type of package you won’t have the following included:

  • Bottled spirits
  • Bottled wine
  • Drinks from the shops/retail venues
  • It can’t be used in conjunction with promotions, onboard specials or other similar programmes.

How to Book a Premier Beverage Package

Similarly to the Plus Beverage Package, The Plus Beverage Package can be purchased at the time of booking your cruise, up to three days prior to sailing. It’s also available onboard on embarkation day, but not during the rest of your sailing. However, as aforementioned, if you’ve booked Princess Plus or a Princess Premier fare, it will be automatically added to your cruise booking. 

Princess Cruises’ Drinks Packages FAQs

Can Two People Use One Drink Package on Princess Cruises?

Packages can’t be shared, transferred or refunded. Only one drink is allowed per guest order. There is a limit of 15 drinks per 24 hours for alcoholic beverages, but non-alcoholic drinks don’t have this limitation. 

Does a Service Charge Apply to Drinks?

There is an 18% service charge on top of each drink on Princess Cruises. 

What are the age restrictions?

For the Classic Soda Package and Zero Alcohol Package, no age restriction applies. However, for the Plus Beverage Package and the Premier Beverage Package, you must be 21 and older.
